Three number sets, each worked out from the last 116 real UK 49s draws: a most-frequent set, an overdue set and a balanced set. They are a summary of what has already happened. None of the three is more likely to come up than any other six numbers you could choose, because every draw starts again from the same 49 balls.

Worked out on Monday, 7 September 2026. The most recent draw counted is Teatime on Monday, 7 September 2026, and the oldest is Saturday, 8 August 2026. That is 116 draws in total: 29 Brunchtime, 29 Lunchtime, 29 Drivetime and 29 Teatime. If that date is not today, the counts have not been refreshed since it.

Number sets

Three sets, and the exact rule behind each one

Each set is produced by one written rule applied to the stored draws, so anyone with the same file gets the same six numbers. The sets overlap, because they are all drawn from the same 116 draws.

Most-frequent set

51617212433

The six numbers that came up most often as main balls in the last 116 draws. Equal counts are settled by taking the lower number.

In this window: 5 came up 19 times, 16 came up 22 times, 17 came up 21 times, 21 came up 19 times, 24 came up 23 times, 33 came up 22 times.

Overdue set

32930324349

The six numbers that have gone the longest without coming up as a main ball. Equal waits are settled by taking the lower number.

In this window: 3 last came up 17 draws ago, 29 last came up 32 draws ago, 30 last came up 20 draws ago, 32 last came up 22 draws ago, 43 last came up 27 draws ago, 49 last came up 18 draws ago.

Balanced set

51624333642

One number from each sixth of the range 1 to 49, taking the most-drawn number inside that sixth. This spreads the six picks across the whole board instead of bunching them.

In this window: 1 to 8: 5, 9 to 16: 16, 17 to 24: 24, 25 to 33: 33, 34 to 41: 36, 42 to 49: 42.

What the sets are not

A record, not a forecast

A 49s draw does not remember the draw before it. Six balls come out of the same drum of 49 every time, so a number that came up 19 times this month and a number that has not come up at all both have exactly the same chance in the next draw.

Brunchtime

Brunchtime prediction for today

The Brunchtime draw runs at 12:49 South African time today, which is 11:49 on the United Kingdom clock. From the last Sunday in October, when the UK clocks go back, it moves to 13:49 South African time. Betting closes a few minutes earlier, and the exact cut-off is set by the bookmaker.

Frequency

How often each number came up

Main balls only. The seventh ball of each draw, the bonus ball, is stored in the data file but is left out of every count here, so the table adds up to 696 balls across 116 draws. If the draw were perfectly even, each number would appear about 14.2 times.

Draws waited is the number of draws that have run since that ball last came up as a main ball. Zero means it was in the most recent draw counted. Most drawn in this window: 5, 16, 17, 21, 24, 33. Least drawn: 1, 8, 18, 41, 44, 49. This table covers the recent window only. Draw times

UK 49s draw times in South African time

South Africa stays on the same clock all year, but the United Kingdom does not, so the South African time of each draw moves by an hour twice a year. Betting usually closes a few minutes before the draw, and the closing time is set by the bookmaker, not by 49s.

Draw times, United Kingdom clock and South African clock
Draw UK clock South Africa, UK summer time South Africa, UK winter time
Brunchtime 11:49 12:49 13:49
Lunchtime 12:49 13:49 14:49
Drivetime 16:49 17:49 18:49
Teatime 17:49 18:49 19:49

The United Kingdom is on summer time now, so the times that apply today are 13:49 and 18:49 South African time. The clocks go back on the last Sunday in October, and from that day every draw lands an hour later, at 14:49 and 19:49. The same operator also runs Brunchtime and Drivetime draws, which this page does not cover.

How these predictions actually work

A UK 49s draw pulls six balls, plus a bonus ball, out of a drum holding the numbers 1 to 49. Every ball in that drum is the same size and weight, the drum is emptied and refilled for the next draw, and nothing about the last result is carried into the next one. Past results do not influence future draws. The name of the game is typed many ways, UK49s, UK 49s, uk49 or just 49s, and every spelling is this same draw, run four times a day.

The honest odds are worth writing down, because they are what any prediction is up against. One chosen number has 6 chances in 49 of landing in the main six, which is about 1 in 8.2. Two chosen numbers both landing is 6 in 49 times 5 in 48, about 1 in 78. Three chosen numbers all landing is about 1 in 921. On a market that settles on all seven balls, the six mains plus the bonus, a single pick becomes exactly 1 in 7. A fair price on a 1 in 8.2 chance would be about 7.2 to 1, and a bookmaker offers less than the fair price, which is where its margin lives. No number set on this page, and none sold anywhere else, moves any of these figures.

That single fact decides what a page like this can honestly offer. The best UK 49s predictions anyone can honestly offer are counts of real draws, labelled as counts of real draws, and this page is exactly that. Counting how often a number came up over the last 116 draws tells you what happened. It does not tell you what will happen, and it cannot improve the odds on any number you choose. Every one of the 49 balls has the same chance in the next draw, every single time, and no amount of studying the table changes that.

Uneven counts are normal, not a signal. Over 116 draws the average number appears about 14.2 times, but real randomness is lumpy: some numbers land well above that and some well below, purely by chance. If the counts came out perfectly level, that would be the surprising result. A number that has waited a long time is not owed anything, and one that has come up often is not warmed up. Both are descriptions of the past.

So use the sets the way they are meant to be used: as a way of choosing six numbers that is quicker than staring at a blank slip, and no more than that. Picking your own birthdays, or letting the bookmaker choose, leaves you in exactly the same position. Decide the stake first, on what you can afford to lose, and let the numbers be the small part of the decision.

Using this page

What you can do on this page

Four things, all of which are checkable against the stored draws or against the sources at the bottom.

  • Take one of the three sets, or build your own from the table, for whichever of the four daily draws is next.
  • Read the counts for a number you already play, including how many draws it has waited.
  • Check what time the draw runs in South African time today, and what changes at the end of October.
  • Open a bookmaker that prices UK 49s, after reading the terms, if you have decided to bet.

Where to bet it

Which route makes sense here?

UK 49s is sold in South Africa as a bookmaker bet on a foreign draw, not as a national lottery ticket, so you place it with a licensed bookmaker rather than at a lottery outlet. ZA Bet holds two links that carry draw betting.

First link

Hollywoodbets

Hollywoodbets is the ZA Bet link for readers who came here for the draw itself. Check the current bet types, payouts and closing times on the operator site before you stake anything.

Open Hollywoodbets

Second link

10bet

10bet is the broader sportsbook link, useful if you want draw betting alongside soccer and other markets in one account. Product scope and offer terms have to be checked on the operator site.

Open 10bet

ZA Bet may earn commission from partner links to ZARbet, Betway, JackpotCity, 10bet, Playabets, TopBet, BetBus, Apex Bets and Hollywoodbets. Commercial terms do not change editorial cautions.

Before you stake

Use this order before you deposit

Five checks, in this order, because each one can stop the next from mattering.

  1. Decide the amount you are willing to lose today, and treat it as spent the moment you place the bet.
  2. Check that the bookmaker is licensed in South Africa and that its licence details are on its own site.
  3. Read how that bookmaker pays a UK 49s bet, which bet types it offers and when betting closes for each draw.
  4. Read the account rules that apply after the bet: identity verification, withdrawal limits and any bonus conditions.
  5. Set a deposit limit before your first deposit, not after, and keep the helpline number where you can find it.

Gambling can be addictive. Bet only with money you can afford to lose and use deposit limits before you bet. 18+ | T&Cs apply. National Responsible Gambling Programme: 0800 006 008. Questions people ask

UK 49s predictions FAQ

Short answers to the four things readers ask most about this draw.

Can UK 49s numbers be predicted?

No. Each UK 49s draw is independent, so what came up yesterday changes nothing about today. This page shows what the last draws actually contained, which is a record, not a forecast.

What time is the UK 49s draw in South Africa?

While the United Kingdom is on summer time the four draws land at 12:49, 13:49, 17:49, 18:49 South African time. Each moves an hour later when the UK clocks go back at the end of October.

Do hot or overdue numbers have a better chance?

No. Every one of the 49 balls has the same chance in every draw, whether it came up ten times last month or not at all. A long wait does not make a number due.

Where do the numbers on this page come from?

They are counted from 116 real UK 49s draws running from 8 August 2026 to 7 September 2026, each taken from whichever independent results service published it first. None of those services is the 49s operator. The file was last updated on 7 September 2026 and is published with the page so the counts can be repeated.

Where these numbers came from

The 116 draws behind every count on this page run from 8 August 2026 to 7 September 2026. They are saved to a file that ships with the site, which was last updated on 7 September 2026. Each new draw is taken from whichever independent results service publishes it first, so the page keeps up with the draw rather than waiting.

That speed has a cost worth stating plainly: a newly added row carries one service's word for it, and is not held back until a second service agrees. Older rows in the archive were added under a stricter rule and needed two independent services to report identical numbers. This niche is full of sites republishing each other, and none of them is the operator, so treat any single result as worth checking against your own ticket.

The counts are refreshed when new draws are added to that file. Until then the page shows the window it was built from, stated at the top, rather than pretending to be live. There is no free machine-readable feed for this draw, and the operator's own site blocks automated reading, which is the honest limit on how fresh any page like this one can be.
